Our Story
Since our start in 1986 Studio 299 has grown into a multifaceted organization that allows us to participate in many exciting projects in the Klamath/Trinity communities. We have put on Art Shows at the Mainstreet Gallery in Weaverville and published two local poetry/art anthologies. We also established and managed the Willow Creek Farmers’ Markets from 2004-2008 and the highly successful Taste of Willow Creek from 2005-2014. In 2012, we purchased 75 The Terrace and using private donations and the generous Headwaters Fund Grant of $40,000 we built a beautiful multipurpose room that currently functions as an art gallery. Later, in 2014, we installed a pottery studio that hosts classes for the community and in 2018 we rounded out our facility by constructing a full commercial kitchen where we have cooking classes and rent out for community use.
